Leonid is a Managing Director at 7-21 Capital Group. He has over 15 years of experience in financial services from financing oil and gas projects in the U.S. and the middle east, to investment management of both individual and institutional clients. He managed a portfolio of equity, fixed income, loans, and alternative investments. Leonid also has extensive structuring and credit experience in the financing and execution of projects.
Before joining 7-21 Capital Group, Leonid worked was a Vice President of Investments at Wells Fargo Wealth Management. He participates directly and indirectly in the origination, and closing of real estate and oil gas projects in Texas. He also served as the Co-founder of Maji 4 Life, a non-profit that facilitates clean water access through well digging and access to healthcare facilities in Kenya. He is also an advisory board member at the San Jose Clinic, the first safety net clinic in Houston Texas, an initiative of the Catholic Archdiocese of Galveston.
Prior to Wells Fargo, Leonid worked for JPMorgan Chase & Co in various capacities from lending to investment management. Leonid successfully managed a portfolio of loans, equity, fixed income and alternative investments including closed-end funds and private equity investments.
Born and raised in Kenya, Leonid holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a Member of the CFA Institute.
