Darlington is a Partner at 7-21 Capital Group and a member of the investment team. Darlington focuses on operations, making and growing financial services investments. He has a wealth of experience building businesses and managing transactions across sub-Saharan Africa.

Darlington has over 25 years of executive experience in insurance and risk management. He also has a wealth of knowledge building and nurturing corporate relationships in the African continent from his extensive travel and interactions with the major stakeholders in over 25 countries. He has first-hand experience of working in Botswana, Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe & South Africa where he is currently based.

 

Darlington holds a degree in Business from the University of Pretoria, and a member of Insurance Institute of South Africa

 

Darlington’s passion is to see sustainable growth in the main sectors of African economies. He sees both domestic and direct foreign investment as necessary components to rewriting the Africa narrative.
